Details : Association for India’s Development (AID) is partnering for a fundraising concert with Indian rock band Euphoria.
“Euphoria- follow your dreams” concert which will be held at the KingCat theater in Seattle on 13th November, 2010. This is the Euphoria band’s first tour in the U.S.A. They will be performing in three west-coast cities: Seattle, Bay Area & Los Angeles. Euphoria, is an Indian rock band from the city of Delhi and is among the first to bring rock culture to India. They mix electric guitar with traditional instruments like the Tabla, Dholak and sitar to create mesmerizing effects. The band has several chart-busters to their credit, the latest one being the Commonwealth Games 2010 anthem.
AID is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization committed to promoting sustainable, equitable and just development in India. To this end, AID supports grass-roots level organizations all over India to promote efforts in spheres such as education, livelihood, natural resources, health, women's empowerment etc.
